Team Organisation
Barry Lambert is a Director of Canford Healthcare Plc which owns Pentlow Nursing Home. He has been managing nursing homes since 1990 following a successful career in the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist. He has over 20 years experience in managing care homes and prides himself on offering a personal, professional service to all aspects of Canford Healthcare.
Care Home General Manager
Leslie Wicks is the General Manager and is responsible for the nursing care and the staff at Pentlow Nursing Home.
Team Leaders
Pentlow has a group of team leaders who are members of staff trained to NVQ level 3 and have some supervisory responsibility forthe new and less experienced staff. The Team Leaders also take responsibility for a particular area in the house incorporating about eight residents each for which they have day-to-day responsibility regarding their personal care, tidying of rooms and that extra special attention to detail.

To me it was quite evident that regardless of the role, whether it might be nursing, caring, catering, office, housekeeping, maintenance or grounds, (my apologies for those I may not have included), everyone was totally committed and dedicated to caring not only for the residents but the relatives as well.
