In an emergency, your actions could mean the difference between life and death. Over 270,000 people in the UK suffer from a heart attack each year.
About 30% die before reaching hospital
About 70% of cardiac arrests happen out of hospital.
Emergency life support (ELS) is the set of actions needed to help someone live until professional help arrives.

It only takes 2 hours to learn the skills which may someday save a life. It is very likely that the person you help may be a family member or someone you know.
