Haggis for dinner at Pentlow
Activities Coordinator Catherine Adams, with Piper Donald Brown
Pentlow Nursing Home, Eastbourne, celebrated with a Burn's lunch complete with Haggis and a Piper.
Piper Donald Brown thrilled the residents with his musical interlude, and also made a 'house call' to one resident in his room.
The dining room was decked in tartan, and Mr Roger Perry addressed the Haggis. Everyone had a 'wee dram' as the Haggis was paraded through for all the residents to see.
Activities Coordinator Catherine Adams also dressed for the occasion!

To me it was quite evident that regardless of the role, whether it might be nursing, caring, catering, office, housekeeping, maintenance or grounds, (my apologies for those I may not have included), everyone was totally committed and dedicated to caring not only for the residents but the relatives as well.
