Festive Bazaar attracts Mayor
Pentlow Nursing Home was visited by the mayor during their Christmas bazaar.

The Mayor of Eastbourne Cllr Carolyn Heaps, resident Betty Coleman and Manager Lesley Wicks were photographed during the event at the Eastbourne Nursing home.
Hot chestnuts, mulled wine and mince pies were sampled, and a raffle and sale of donated items took place.
Money raised will go into the residents fund which is used for extra outings, and items for activities and recreation.
Mayor Heaps is a long standing friend of Pentlow Nursing Home, and residents are always delighted by her visits.

To me it was quite evident that regardless of the role, whether it might be nursing, caring, catering, office, housekeeping, maintenance or grounds, (my apologies for those I may not have included), everyone was totally committed and dedicated to caring not only for the residents but the relatives as well.
