Macmillan Coffee Morning success
The big coffee morning is always an annual event we like to support, and this year was no exception.
Lesley Wicks and staff from Pentlow Nursing Home, Eastbourne, supported by visits from their residents, manned a stall in the town to raise funds and offer delicious home made produce to passers by.
We were suprised to make the paper, with the Eastbourne Herald featuring a photograph of us in action!
Manager Lesley thanked those who contributed and helped to make the day possible. The day raised £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

To me it was quite evident that regardless of the role, whether it might be nursing, caring, catering, office, housekeeping, maintenance or grounds, (my apologies for those I may not have included), everyone was totally committed and dedicated to caring not only for the residents but the relatives as well.
