I am working towards NVQ level 4 in Care and Management. Can I be registered for both awards?

Am I able to use previous learning/certificates to meet requirements in these awards?

Yes, the term used for this is Accreditation of Prior Experience and learning (APEL). This process will form part of a candidates initial assessment.
 

Can I directly transfer previously achieved NVQ units in to any of these?

This depends on the award you have chosen. All units identified must be a direct match. Your assessor will be able to advise you accordingly. 

How will these Awards be delivered?

By monthly visits to the candidate’s workplace with a qualified assessor. 

How much will it cost? 

We offer a "one-off" payment with agreed number of visits or you can opt for a budget scheme, where payments are made monthly until you complete your award. Some government funding may be available.
